Spend ten minutes with me and you’ll know I just can’t wait for the weather to cool off. Sure, it’s nice to be able to head to the beach on any given weekend in October, but I really want to be able to transition away from shorts. So, we make it work! Here’s a fun way to make warm weather fall layers work!

Fall Layers for Warm Weather
We had the tiniest peek of fall weather and it’s back into soaring temps this week. Since it’s definitely not jeans/boots/scarves weather around here, I’m doing what I can to add a little fall flair to my wardrobe. Most days the temperature swings by at least thirty degrees from early morning school drop-offs to late afternoon pickups, so I’m finding that I either need to layer, or plan on changing my clothes midday.

I’ve been wearing this jersey swing dress from Old Navy layered under a few different options. I wore it all summer as the easiest thing to throw on, and now it looks great layered under a chunky cardigan, or a plaid flannel shirt.
