Whenever a new Oreo flavor hits the market we get messages from friends and viewers all over social media telling us that we need to take one for the team before they throw $3 at a potentially terrible pack of Oreos. Twenty years ago I wouldn’t have guessed that my biggest claim to fame would be as an Oreo cookie taste tester, but there are worse things to be known for, I’m sure.

The Very First Oreo Taste Test
So many things are standing out to me as I look at this video. First, we didn’t feel the need to create a thumbnail image? Why? Nearly three hundred videos have gone up on our channel and this one looks naked! Both of our hairstyles look completely different to me, and our camera is off to the side. WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE? For us, this was the beginning of what would become a barrage of taste tests, and we thought Red Velvet was SO WACKY. Little did we know, my friends. Little did we know.
The Worst Taste Test of All Time
Here we take a sharp left turn from a series of pretty enjoyable if not mind-blowing taste tests. This video makes me laugh and laugh because I make such a fool out of myself early on in the video. Also, the Swedish Fish Oreo earn the crown as the absolute worst Oreo to hit the shelves. They’re inedible. Trust us on this one.
The Surprise Favorite
No one was more surprised than me that the Cotton Candy Oreo was FANTASTIC. This video was over two years ago which surprises me because the memory is still so fresh in my mind. Oreo should definitely consider bringing these back for the summer.
The Oreo Throwdown Video
People love their Trader Joe’s Joe Joe’s and to that I say NAY! Oreo always trump Joe Joe’s. Always. Joe Joe’s are the bobo Oreo. Watching this video reminds me that the Joe Joe isn’t actually BAD, I’m just an Oreo girl.
The One Where They Ruin Chocolate
Guys? How does a company that makes a chocolate cookie ruin a chocolate flavor so quickly? I don’t know how they did it, but this Brownie Batter Oreo was awful. However, this video is the first time we see our cookie rating system make an appearance, so it’s not all bad.
The One That Goes POW POW!
I like when Oreo just jazzes up their original Oreo a little bit and this one just WORKS for me. It’s an Oreo that’s fun to eat. This video takes a sharp left turn immediately following the taste test and we get really real about our personalities and how we see each other. Who is the sunshine and who is the rain? Go ahead, tell the truth. We can take it.
