Throwback Thursday – Discovery Cube Orange County

Summer break starts TODAY and the kids and I have been making lists of things we want to do this summer. I like a mix of lazy days and actual outings to keep everyone happy, entertained and not run ragged. Summer is for freedom from schedules, in my opinion. We’ve been talking about all of our favorite local spots and the kids made sure to throw Discovery Cube into the mix.

Wendy and I had the chance to visit with our kids after hours last year when the Discovery Cube expansion opened and chat about some of their newest features. We were THRILLED with the new cafe offerings and my kids love the expanded spaces for new exhibits. They run wild through the space, touching, testing, building, learning, and just genuinely delighting the former teacher in me.

I just showed my kids the Extreme Dinosaurs Exhibit pictures and they are chomping at the bit to go and I totally don’t blame them! We would love to know what other things are on your list of summer fun – we’re all about having fun this summer and hitting all of those places that we miss during the school year.
