I am deep into a rewatch of the entire Gilmore Girls series. I’ve seen the show all of the way through twice – once when it originally aired, and a second time through reruns on ABC Family. If you’re thinking of watching again, read through our ultimate guide to rewatching Gilmore Girls!
Listen to Gilmore Guys Podcast
I’ve talked about my love for the Gilmore Guys podcast before but I’m at nearly fanatic heights lately. A few years ago, Wendy and I went to a live podcast taping and it was so much fun.
The show was two hours long and even though my husband was totally bewildered by why I would want to go watch such a thing I thought it was well worth the Sunday night drive to Los Angeles.
The Gilmore Guys podcast is hosted by Kevin T. Porter and Demi Adejuyigbe. They have recapped 153 episodes of Gilmore Girls, including all four of the revival episodes. If that’s not enough, they also recapped Bunheads and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, plus stand alone interviews with various cast.
It takes my rewatch up a level knowing I can listen to their thoughts on an episode as soon as I finish it. I’m now ahead of where they are in the series, so I need to slow down!

Read Coffee at Luke’s
A sweet friend gifted me Coffee at Luke’s and it’s such a fun companion to watching the show. I haven’t read it in order the way I would read a novel, rather I flip through looking for something to capture my eye – like an essay about having a mega-crush on Kirk and I read and smile and love the show even more.
Gilmore Girls Adult Coloring Books
Are you looking for mindless relaxation while watching Rory navigate the cliques at Chilton? I love this Stars Hollow Coloring and Activity Book which features 20 hand-drawn coloring pages and 23 hand-drawn activity pages including a book list of every book mentioned in the series, crossword puzzles, BINGO cards, recipes and a pro/con list. Buy it here on Amazon for $10.99
Burn a Gilmore Girls Inspired Candle
Set the mood with this adorable I Smell Snow candle! During season 1, episode 8, Lorelai explains that she can smell the arrival of snow in Stars Hollow. She does it again – this time with Luke – during season 5. Buy your own here from Etsy shop BiblioMagicka.
Gilmore Girls’ Kirk’s T-Shirt Business
In season 3, episode 17, fan favorite Kirk tried selling topical t-shirts in the town Stars Hallow. When Rory decides to go to Yale, Kirk made a shirt saying so. This is one of my all-time favorite Gilmore Girls scenes. Get yours here from Etsy shop The Royal Taco Belle for $17.99.
Read like a Gilmore
Have you ever wondered what Rory’s reading? Now you can have the complete list of every book mentioned on the series!
Do you have a favorite Gilmore Girls episode?
There are two Gilmore Girls episode that stand out as my favorite.
The first one is when Rory graduates from Chilton during season 3, episode 22. Her valedictorian speech makes me cry every single time I watch this episode. So, we’re not crying?
The second is when Richard and Emily learn the truth about how the Huntzbergers feel about Rory and Logan being together. Emily skewers Shira Huntzberger at the USO-themed D.A.R. party and it’s my favorite Emily scene from the original series.
How much do you love Gilmore Girls? Do you know that they don’t capitalize the “g” in “girls” but I can’t bring myself to do that. Have you watched the show? Multiple times? Who are you hoping Rory ends up with in the revival? This is a safe space here.

You should absolutely always capitalize the “G” in “Girls.” Typographic decisions for logos don’t stand up in any other context.
(Hi, I love GG almost as much as I love English-language grammar and style.)
Also, I looooooove that guide book. I think we got it from the same friend. 🙂

1. She’s the best.
2. I actually feel better that I have your approval on the capitalization – as if there were some rule that said I have to follow their style choices.
3. My Gilmore Guys shirt says “Gilmore guys” and it irks me!

I am so obsessed with Gilmore Girls. OBSESSED. I can’t stop watching it on repeat.

I am a big fan of Gilmore Girls. I am watching it for the 5th time, I think, maybe more and I cannot contain my excitement for the revival! I don’t care who Rory ends up with but Lorelai better be with Luke! Haha.

I have watched “Gilmore Girls” probably 20 times since it has gone off the air. By far my favorite show. Nothing else can even compare. I am jazzed about the revival but I wish Netflix (or someone) would give us a release date because I’m jonesing for some new ‘sodes to watch (over and over and over…)!

We heard October!
Jamie says
3 months and 10 days for the revival to be released on Netflix! I have countdown on my phone…
