It’s that time of the year again! As the Thanksgiving festivities come to a close, many of us find ourselves with an abundance of leftovers. Whether it’s turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, or cranberry sauce, we’re left wondering what to do with all of the excess food.
But fear not! With a little creativity and some inspiration, those Thanksgiving leftovers can be transformed into delicious meals that will have you feeling thankful all over again.
The truth is that my husband and I LOVE Thanksgiving leftovers, and our favorite way to eat them is simply reheated. For days! But, we know not everyone feels the same way, so here are a few creative ways to use up your Thanksgiving leftovers.
Enjoy Thanksgiving after your family goes home
I find it kind of hard to really enjoy Thanksgiving dinner when I’m hosting. I’m always thinking about what comes next and how much time we have before dessert starts. Can we get the kitchen cleaned up before people start hankering for pie?
That’s why I’m always so glad for leftovers. I can settle in with a Christmas movie and a plate of everything I worked so hard on and not worry about anyone else.
If the word leftovers makes your skin crawl, never fear – we’ve got ten great ways to use those leftovers and make them seem like a brand new, delicious meal.
Send your guests home with Thanksgiving Leftovers
Avoid having a refrigerator full of more leftovers than you can possibly eat. Send your guests home with their own to-go container.
Grab a pack of disposable muffin tins for easy portioning of all of your Thanksgiving sides to go!
