Is the bloom off of the Target Beauty Box rose at this point? I have not found myself whooping for joy over the contents of the last few boxes, however I still can’t resist the rush of ordering one before they all sell out.
Target seems to have settled into a first weekday of the month pattern for releasing the box and they are now only allowing one box per person, which is a chance at least since July as we have always ordered two at a time – whoever gets there first grabs boxes for both of us. I think this is a good policy although it did lead to Wendy completely missing out on the box this time. What do you think, was she disappointed by that?
Contents of the box:
Rimmel, The Only 1 Lipstick – This is a creamy, full-coverage lipstick and mine is in a deep plum color. It’s a pretty fall color, although weather or not I’ll ever wear it remains to be seen.
Biore Baking Soda Pore Cleanser – This is a mild scrub and I’m pretty interested in trying this, in spite of the fact that I haven’t used a Biore product since I lived in a dorm.
Maybelline Volum Express The Falsies Push Up Mascara – Usually I love a new mascara, but this one has been pretty widely disliked. I might still try it, but my hopes are not high.
S.W. Basics Organic Lip Balm – Unfortunately I got the cocoa scent. Any of the other three options (cinnamon, peppermint, citrus) would have been welcome.)
Eden Bodyworks Jojoba Monoi Deep Conditioner – After a summer of over-chlorinated pools my hair could probably use this.
Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream – The Target boxes are pushing Laneige big time. I’ve received either a mask or moisturizer in at least four boxes. This is a pricey product and a good sized sample, but I want new things Target!
OGX Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo – The website shows both the shampoo and conditioner as part of the box, but mine didn’t come that way. Did anyone else get both?
