Spring Beauty Favorites
I am starting to see why people love Spring so much. We are in the midst of some truly envious weather, the sort of weather that makes even me – the most indoorsy of sorts – want to spend more time outside. I know it is fleeting and all too soon I’ll be grumbling about the never ending heat, but today? Today is pretty great.
Also great are these collections of our favorites. Sometimes calling all of these items favorites seems a bit like when my daughter tells me she has ten best friends. The language isn’t precise, but really these videos are just a time for us to share things we’ve been using and loving lately. For me, all of these products are new favorites, but several are not new to Wendy as I just copied some stuff she has already professed to loving. What can I say, I take inspiration wherever I find it! (This post contains affiliate links. This doesn’t change your shopping experience, but we receive a small commision if you make a purchase.)
Wendy’s Favorites
Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighter-Crown of My Canopy -322B Light – The exact version of Wendy’s highlighter appears to not be available anymore, but this has the same name and I bet it’s simply the non-Alice in Wonderland themed version of her beloved highlighter.
Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Oil – While we like a bold lip for filming, for everyday we both prefer a sheer wash of moisturizing color.
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Silk HD Anti-Aging Micro-Powder – Wendy is a QVC queen and finds the best deals. Take her advice and order IT Cosmetics via QVC and you’ll get a better deal!
Pixi By Petra Hydrating Milky Mist 2.7 Fl Oz – TERRIBLE name, but I’ll take all of the hydration I can get these days and we keep finding more and more we love from the Pixi line.
L’Oreal Paris Infallible Concealer Color Correcting Palette – I’ve never used a color correcting palette before, but Wendy loves this one so I might have to try.
Megan’s Favorites
CoverGirl Outlast All-Day Matte Finishing Powder – I still think the packaging on this is truly terrible, but this is a great drugstore finishing powder.
Invisibobble Original The Traceless Ring Hair Tie – I am now seeing these everywhere. I have owned a LOT of hair ties in my life, but being able to put my hair into a bun without an immediate headache means these are part of the permanent collection.
RODIAL The Baking Brush &RODIAL Baking Powder – Rodial sent us several products to try out and these were the standout faves from this collection. The baking brush is such a great brush for applying and dusting away finishing powder. It’s the tool I didn’t know I was missing in my life.
EcoTools Perfecting Blender Duo – We talked a lot about having a high/low face in this video and these are definitely a low in terms of price, but a high in terms of performance. I hope these stick around for a while because I think they’re bumping the Beauty Blender out of it’s top spot for me.
L’Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Cushion Buildable Luminous Foundation – I didn’t want to jump on to the cushion foundation bandwagon, but I’m here to say that I really like this one. I bought it when Walgreens was having a sale because these are a little spendy for a drugstore product.
