In today’s video about our personal skin care beauty favorites and routines, I regrettably admit one very bad habit of mine. You guys, I’m sure I need a beauty intervention or at least some good advice on how to break this habit. Megan does offer some suggestions, but we both are really interested in what you have to say about it.

Skin Care Faves Mentioned
Did you catch Megan’s mention of her double washing method? Let’s dive into that – first, she wipes away her makeup with a facial oil from Trader Joe’s and then she does a complete wash afterwards with Cetaphil or the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser mentioned in the video. What’s your nighttime routine? Better yet, what’s your favorite cleanser?

Paraben-free, lash nourish eye-make up remover pads from Pixi by Petra. Love these! Don’t cheap out on alternatives, spend the $10 at Target for these ones.
I’ve found several products from Mary Kay that I really like but never go back to (mostly because I don’t know anyone who sells). Megan is loving three from her friend who is a sales rep for the company. Mary Kay Timewise Vitamin C Activating Squares, Mary Kay Pore Minimizer and Mary Kay Clear Proof Charcoal Mask. I really want to try the Vitamin C squares! What do you think about Mary Kay? Timeless brand or too expensive? Talk to us.
You might know what a loon I am for QVC. I stand firm that they have some incredible offers on your favorite beauty products. It’s where I fell in love with Smashbox and Philosophy and now Paula’s Choice. Paula’s Choice was so off my radar until Megan mentioned it years ago. Paula’s Choice 2% Salicylic Acid is legit and I like the Resist Anti-Aging Eye Cream though I do find the thick formula creates milia bumps around my delicate eye area.
I’m constantly struggling with dry skin but have found that Murad’s Hydro-Dynamic Moisturizer is rich enough to soften things up a little bit. Now, if I could be consistent with it, I might not be so dang dry!
I love, love, LOVE a sheet mask (Megan just gifted me like a million and I can’t wait to try them out). New to the sheet mask game are the lip masks from Sephora and Yes to Carrots. My lips take up a lot of my face, so these are a must have for me.
One last product mentioned, is the Wet n Wild Natural Finish Photo Focus Setting Spray. While not part of her nighttime routine, she uses it after applying her makeup each day. For less than $5, it’s a great addition to your daytime routine.
