It’s no secret to my close friends and family that Christmastime isn’t my favorite time of year. Yet, I found myself browsing the seasonal aisles at Target just as they were setting up the tree displays and WHAMMO! An artificial rose gold tree might save Christmas for me this year!
Dreaming Of A Rose Gold Christmas
I love the idea of wiping the slate clean each year when it comes to holiday decorations. Sure, I cherish the handmade ornaments my daughter made in preschool but I don’t really care about the wooden nutcracker we picked up at Macy’s during the after Christmas sale in 1999. I want my holiday decorations to reflect what I like right now. But, it’s a push and pull because throwing out what we’ve collected over the years is such a waste. On the other hand, I’m down right bored with the boxes of decor we use year after year.
So, if I’m dreaming of turning my home into a rose gold Christmas this is what I would get. These are my absolute favorite things from stores like Target, Shutterfly, Anthropologie, Etsy and more (some affiliate links ahead).
Rose Gold Christmas Decorations
First up, that tree! Target has a slim, 6 ft., pre-lit artificial rose gold tree for $64 (reg. $127). The review on Target.com says it all: “Champagne taste, Target budget.” I wouldn’t even know how to decorate a rose gold tree but I WANT IT!
This rose gold ball garland from CB2 is like a statement necklace. It’s so stunning would look gorgeous on an entry table layered with tall tapered candles (I totally stole that idea from the CB2 website). It’s so, so pretty. I think I want it for my fireplace mantle.
Anthropologie is one of those stores that is hit or miss with me but right now it’s a mecca for all things rose gold. These feathered hurricane votive candles are delicate and perfect sprinkled throughout on my dining room table and I’ll take a million of these rose gold snowflake ornaments, too.
How about these rose gold nesting string lights? Yes, please. Even these rose gold dipped lights from Target. Love.
Rose Gold Christmas Cards
It’s so hard to choose a Christmas card but Shutterfly has this gorgeous rose gold foil stamped card starting at $1.65 per card. Spoiler alert: If you’re on my Christmas card list, this is what you’re getting from my family. Don’t miss out on the Black Friday sales Shutterfly is offering right now. Free shipping and 30%-50% off your entire order.
Rose Gold Gifts for Everyone on Your List
I’m just going to keep this rose gold list growing with a few of my favorite gifts to give this holiday season. From necklaces, ornaments, candles and more. There is something on this list for someone you love.
I really love the rose gold necklaces and bracelets from Shutterfly. Yes! Shutterfly. My favorites are the Rose Gold Katy and Rose Gold Seema necklaces and any of the bangle bracelets. Plus, you can personalize any of them (add a photo or an initial). Love these for me and for all my friends.
How about less personal gifts? Hostess, teacher or secret santa? I love these rose gold Bobbi Pins by Ban.do or this sweet rose gold Wassail candle (which smells like mulled cider). This 18-month rose gold foil wall calendar is really pretty and you can’t go wrong with a rose gold metallic Swell bottle (worth every penny!).
I can’t stop now. Target has some great stocking stuffers all with a rose gold vibe. These rose gold ear buds by Beats, Revlon has several rose gold thermal hairbrushes, rose gold gel nail polish from SensatioNail, and this pretty rose gold notebook set.
Ok, have I taken this too far? But what about wrapping paper and ribbon? Paper Source has gorgeous rose gold satin ribbon but I’m still looking for the perfect paper to pair it with.
I couldn’t write this post without sharing some rose gold stickers for all you planner fans. I want Megan to order these sweet rose gold stickers from Etsy seller Bellelenis. Should we have her do another “Plan with (Me)gan” Christmas edition video?
I am actually starting to get into the Christmas spirit! Now, how do I convince my family to ditch all the red and green decorations for that rose gold Christmas tree?
