Today I am sharing my favorite Rae Dunn Christmas displays. I have a certain aesthetic when it comes to displaying Rae Dunn pottery. It can’t be too country, too kitschy, or too cluttered. Also, it has to be more than just a coffee bar – not that I don’t like a Rae Dunn coffee bar, it’s just that I have more than mugs, you know?
So, this time last year I was in DEEP with Rae Dunn. I was visiting one or two Home Goods on the regular, sometimes twice to three times daily, hoping to stumble upon the pieces I wanted not only for my collection but to resell. I have long given up the resell game but still love the stuff for my own use.
This year, I really wanted a few Christmas pieces but could never find them anywhere. Either the serious collectors/resellers were clearing the shelves, or Magenta simply didn’t have enough product to go around. I eventually gave up looking, bought a couple of small pieces from Mercari and called it good.

Now, I use all my Rae Dunn stuff. Bake, drink out of, eat off of. I know a lot of you just like it for display and I will admit that I love a themed Rae Dunn display. Sadly, don’t have enough of one collection to pull together a vignette of my own but if I’m lucky enough to find the pieces I want this year, I will use these favorite Rae Dunn Christmas displays as inspiration!

Rae Dunn Christmas Mug Displays
We love our Rae Dunn Christmas Mugs – in fact Megan declares that it is her favorite Christmas mug, which is saying something if you’ve ever seen Megan’s holiday mug collection.

I absolutely love the simplicity of some of these Rae Dunn Christmas displays. I’ve been really lucky lately finding Christmas pieces at my local Home Goods. Mostly baking and pie pans and tons of mugs. More mugs than I’ve ever seen.
I haven’t yet seen a Cookies canister or a Merry tea pot or even Christmas plates and wonder if those actually exist in the wild this season. The best Rae Dunn news is that I finally found my unicorn piece. I’ve learned to just be patient and shop happy!
