I am notoriously hard on my nails. I’m both a recovering nail biter plus a person with naturally thin and brittle nails, which means it’s a struggle to keep my nails looking good. I love a good manicure and I’m a huge fan of press on nails. But sometimes I don’t have the time or budget for a full blown nail experience and I just want a way to keep my nails looking nice on the daily. Enter: Nail Concealer!

The Perfecting Nail Veil by Londontown
A while back I recommended the Kur Nail Concealer to Wendy. It’s a one step product that keeps my nails looking healthy and “done” without a lot of time invested in the process.
Wendy recently decided that it’s a goal to take better care of her nails, so she went looking for products to help her do that. She took my recommended of Kur products and leveled up with the Londontown Kur Perfecting Nail Veil in Dusty Rose.
Wendy raved about the Nail Veil . Priced at $20 on Amazon, this nail product has been a lifesaver, especially after the wear and tear from nail treatments like dip powders.
Why It’s a Game Changer
- Restoration: Wendy hated how her nails were trashed and slow-growing after a powder dip manicure. The Perfecting Nail Veil started making a noticeable difference in the health and appearance of her nails.
- Enhancement: This product is designed to enhance the natural look of your nails while concealing imperfections, providing a polished and healthy appearance.
Neil Veil vs. Nail Concealer
Our Opinion is that both of these products are great. Nail Veil has a slight edge over the concealer as it comes in a broader ranger of colors. However, all of the shades in both products are pretty subtle.
Application Tips
- Consistency: The consistency of the Perfecting Nail Veil is very user-friendly. It’s neither too thick nor too thin, making it easy to apply evenly across your nails.
- Frequency: Wendy uses this product regularly and has seen significant improvements. If your nails are looking less than perfect, consider incorporating this into your regular nail care routine.
Additional Nail Care Recommendations
While we’re on the subject of nail care, let’s talk about another product I’ve been using and loving.
The Christian Dior Vernis Crème Abricot was on my wishlist for a long time and I finally procured a tub. And it is as good as everyone says! It’s $32 which is a little pricey for a cuticle balm, but you use a tiny bit each time and it will last forever.
I’m always on the hunt for dupes, so we turned to nail queen Sally Hansen. Both Wendy and I love the Sally Hansen Cuticle Rehab as well as the Sally Hansen Cuticle Rx and would recommend them as budget friendly and effective alternatives to the Dior!
