The Old Navy Boyfriend Tee was my one true love when it came to t-shirts. It was the perfect drapey fit that made it great for wearing alone or layering. Unfortunately, the boyfriend tee at Old Navy no longer exists. I know! However, everything that I loved about that t-shirt still exists, but you have to know where to look!

Loose Slub Knit Easy Pocket Tee – This is your classic, casual tee with pocket detailing in a crew neck style.
Loose Linen Blend Henley Top – My personal fave! This is a twist on the classic t-shirt silhouette and I LOVE it.
Linen Blend Easy Pocket Tee – This is the same style as the slub knit tee above, but in Old Navy’s famous linen blend.
Striped Linen Blend Pocket Tee – Is your wardrobe really complete without an excess of striped tees? We say NOPE!
Loose Fit Linen Blend Easy Tee – V-neck, no pockets, stripes (but also available in solid colors!)
Why was the Boyfriend Tee at Old Navy Discontinued?
I don’t know! It seems like they’ve made a transition to the term “easy tee” and this shirt comes in a variety of colors and styles. My personal favorite is the linen blend henley top which is available in a ton of colors. This shirt is the one that I reach for most often!
Old Navy Boyfriend Tee Alternatives
The original Old Navy Boyfriend Tee came in a few different fabrics, but the one IIoved had a linen feel to it. We’re all in luck because Old Navy has several options in the linen blend style.
However, I know not everyone loves the feel of Old Navy’s linen blend material. If that’s you, you want to choose the slub-knit material, which is closer to a traditional t-shirt material. The shirts pictured above include both the linen blend and the slub-knit in the “easy fit” style.
I’m always buying multiple of things I love, especially if it’s on a great sale!
I totally get you, I have that special product in my closet which is repeated like 100 times in different colors and I love it!
