A while back I made a no-sew coffee cozy, right around Valentine’s Day. I ended up giving them away for teacher gifts, but they’re such a quick and easy gift that I decided to make a new batch, just in time for teacher gift-giving for Valentine’s Day. Even though there won’t be a class party this year, I still plan on sending teacher gifts, because teachers deserve our thanks now more than ever!
Simply make one of these reusable coffee sleeves, and add it to a reusable (or a disposable cup – Starbucks is happy to give you one!) and tuck a gift card inside!

All you need is a little bit of felt, hot glue and the embellishments of your choice. I had the buttons and hearts hiding in my craft cabinet and was happy to put them to good use.
To cut your felt you have two options. The easiest option is to just save a disposable cozy from a trip to Starbucks and trace around it. Otherwise, there are templates all over the internet. I love this coffee sleeve template, and it worked perfectly for my cozies.

How to make a coffee cup sleeve without sewing
Simply trace the template, cut them out and place them around a coffee cup so you can get your glue in the right place. I used a thin line of hot glue to hold my cozies together. From there, the decoration is up to you. I glued a few buttons along the seam, but you can use whatever embellishments suit your fancy.
I plan to tuck a Starbucks gift card into each of these and deliver them to the kid’s teachers in lieu of a standard Valentine’s Day card.
