I will be the first to admit that I am drawn in by a gimmick. When I saw videos for magnetic eyelashes, I was intrigued because I am not a false eyelash pro. No glue? Sounds amazing! And then they kind of fell off of my radar until Wendy saw a Black Friday deal and snapped them up.
Do Magnetic Eyelashes work?
We put our very best efforts into trying these out and I’m going to go ahead and tell you that these were an ENORMOUS challenge to get to work! Wendy was more successful than I was by a huge margin. Well, “more successful” implies that I had some measure of success. I think that might be generous. You can see my face in the thumbnail of the video and I am NOT PLEASED!

I was watching Kate’s instagram stories this week and she tried them as well, and she struggled with them, too, which made me feel better!
Alternatives to Magnetic Eyelashes
Update! We are hearing great things about eyelashes that come with magnetic eyeliner for applying.
In addition, people are raving about these pre-glued eyelashes. Long story short (ha!) there are a lot of options if you don’t want to deal with glue!
Tell us, have you tried these eyelashes? Were they successful? Would you repurchase them?

I’m sorry you had such a struggle with these cheap mockups! You have to try the original magnetic eyeliner by inventor Laura Hunter and her founded company Tori Belle Cosmetics!
They really are as simple as lining the lid, letting dry in between and then clicking lashes in place in mere secs!!
These are hand-sewn silk & nylon and look very natural and last all day long!!
