I sent my one and only child off to middle school this year and let’s just say it’s come with some big changes. I am thrilled to see her spread her wings. As I watch her grow into a tween, I can’t help but still want to cut her sandwiches into cute heart and butterfly shapes. OMG, she would die. So, I asked her opinion on lunch box notes for middle school kids – surprisingly – she was totally OK with it.

My goal for the next couple of years is just to let my kid know that I see and hear her. Slipping these lunch box notes into her lunches is one of my ways to let her know that I am here for her. I am her biggest fan and cheerleader but she’s at an age where she doesn’t always want to hear it. These lunch box notes for middle school kids are encouraging, positive and motivating during a very vulnerable time of her life.
