It’s raining liquid matte lipsticks! We risk total humiliation in this video as we swatch them all.
New from the drugstore
Megan and I purchased SO MANY new lip products during our massive drugstore haul that we shot swatch videos for both matte and glosses. In today’s video, we’re trying on a bunch of colors from Wet ‘n Wild’s new Megalast Liquid Catsuit line and Jordana’s Sweet Cream line.
On the hunt for liquid lipsticks
We scoured drugstores in a 25 mile radius looking for the colors we wanted from the thirteen new shades in the Wet ‘n Wild Liquid Catsuit Line. Store either didn’t carry them yet or displays were already picked over. The hardest shade to find: Rebel Rose. The Sweet Cream liquid lip color line from Jordana isn’t brand new but they introduced six new shades for 2017.
Here’s the best thing: Wet ‘n Wild Liquid Catsuit and Jordana Sweet Cream Matte liquid lipsticks are less than $5.
Will liquid lipstick dry out your lips?
We both really liked the formula from each of these brands. I’ll admit, I’m a glossy balm kind of girl on any given day but these mattes have me really excited to play with bold color. A little goes a long way, use a steady hand and definitely give your lips a swipe of Chapstick before applying.
In case you missed the colors in the video, here’s a breakdown of what we swatched. An asterisk * denotes some of our favorite colors. Click the images below to shop for your favorite (affiliate link).
