Yesterday morning, in between gently urging my kids to just put your shoes on OMG PLEASE RIGHT NOW, and shoving my own feet in to rain boots, I was scrolling through Instagram and came across the #LifeCaptcha challenge and decided at that moment to jump in.

After some quick texting, Wendy and I decided to split the day with her taking the even hours, while I would post on the odds. Let’s take a quick stroll through our day.
Southern California Weather Wimp reporting for duty.
Wendy wins breakfast!
I spent some time last week making this desk space a little more my own, and now I really look forward to getting to work every day! (Also, that candle was featured in yesterday’s favorites post!)
Who even knew there was a crystal shop in Wendy’s ‘hood? Not I.
This little dude is my constant companion during the day. He doesn’t really want you to acknowledge him, he just wants to be riiiiight next to you.
We were both pouring over Pinterest courses yesterday. We are FIRED up about 2017 and making big changes around here.
I have the world’s most inconvenient volunteer time. It ends 30 minutes before school gets out, and usually I just kill time on my phone. Today I came prepared!
While I was rounding up kids from school, Wendy was working away.
School projects are slowly killing me.
Wendy was living her best life this afternoon. I am super jealous of her fire. We have a fireplace that we can’t use for stupid reasons. JEALOUS.
I phoned in dinner, big time. My husband wasn’t home for dinner so I went for the easiest dinner that no one will argue about.
DYING over Wendy’s caption. Nothing to see here, folks!
We’ll be playing along again next month on the 19th and you should join in, too!
