Yes! The Stanley Tumbler at Target!
The 40 oz Stanley Adventure Quencher Travel Tumbler, also known as Stanley cups – and no not the hockey one! – has become a household name and a favorite among students, moms, and water lovers alike. The popularity of this stainless steel tumbler has skyrocketed in recent years, with its superior insulation technology that keeps drinks hot or cold for hours.
The demand for this item has been so high that it was often hard to find in Target stores, leaving customers disappointed.
And honestly, we understand. My Stanley cup is an everyday use item. Icy water is one of my favorite things and I love waking up in the middle of the night to ice cold water. Add in prime TikTok users Generation Z with their finger on the pulse of all new releases and you’ve got a perfect store of release day madness.
However, it seems that Stanley has finally caught up with the demand, especially at Target stores, where the tumbler is now readily available. What’s more, the new year brings new styles and colors to the shelves, making it even more exciting for fans of the brand.
With its durability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal, the Stanley tumbler is definitely a must-have for anyone who wants to enjoy their drinks on the go, whether at school, home, or just commuting to work.

Where Else Can You Can Buy the Stanley 40 oz Tumbler with Handle in a Retail Store
REI and Dick’s Sporting Goods both carry the popular Stanley 40 oz Adventure Vacuum Quencher Travel Tumbler in stores. I have personally seen a large selection of colors in both retailers in the last few weeks.

Where at Target Can I Find the Tumblers?
It appears the Adventure Quencher Travel Tumblers are located in the kitchen department at Target. Look on the end caps, the seasonal display areas of the kitchenware department, and where the other tumblers are sold.
We’ve also looked on the camping aisles where most other Stanley products are sold but Target isn’t going to hide this super popular item on the camping aisle.
With that said though, the Owala Flip 24oz Stainless Steel water bottle ($27.99) – a huge fan favorite – can be found on the camping aisle. So, maybe check there if you’re in store checking.
Are the Target Stanley Tumblers the Same as the Others?
The Stanley tumblers available at Target are essentially the same as the ones sold on the Stanley website. Sometimes you’ll find colors that are exclusive to Target, which is why they can sell out instantly!
Does the Stanley Cup Keep Your Drinks Cold?
Yes! In fact this is one of the reasons why I love mine! I love ice cold water at all times. I’ve left my Stanley cup in the car on a hot day and come back to water that’s stil ice cold thanks to their double-wall vacuum insulation. Y’all have seen that car fire video, right?
It’s worth noting that that vacuum insulation works as temperature control for all temps. You can use your Stanley tumbler to keep hot rinks hot as well. (Although we wouldn’t recommend drinking a hot drink through a straw!)
Plus, your use of single-use plastic bottles will basically disappear once you have one of these bad boys in your hands.
Okay, but is the Stanley spill-proof?
Nope. We’re not even going to beat around the bush here. If you buy a new Stanley tumbler you’ll notice they have done a better job of leak-resistance. However, the Stanley tumbler wouldn’t be the best bet if you want something to throw into your purse.
The straw opening is not a tight seal. We would definitely recommend one of our favorite alternatives in that case.
The Stanley tumbler lid has a rotating cover that attempts to help with this. The cover has three positions: Straw, a sippy cup style drink hole, and a closed position that helps prevent leaks. I think most of us use our Stanley in the reusable straw position and I can definitely say that if you knock it over, it will spill.
We did find an after-market way to spill-proof your Stanley!
Did Someone Say Sunshine Vibes Collection?
If you thought the madness surrounding the Valentine’s Day drop was something, we think the latest drop – the sunshine vibes collection might just be the thing that breaks the internet. Just as the name suggests, this limited edition new collection featuring new colors available in stores on March 24 an online on March 27th will contain tumblers in “playful hues and designs with colorful pops.”
These cups are already popping up on resale sites for double the price. Let us be the first to suggest that no one needs to pay $80 for these tumblers. Simply wait for the next release or check out another store with plenty of fun colors.
How Long Will My Stanley Last?
The earth-friendly durability of the stainless steel on a Stanley is designed for a lifetime of use when properly cared for. Each Stanley product comes with care and use instructions in order to keep it in tip-top shape. The lifetime warranty on Stanley products requires that you use them according to these instructions.

They had them at the target in Williamsburg , Virginia one week ago. Not the location off the big highway , the other one . The display was ransacked . Lol There was three plain whites and one pink with a design left . I got the white one because it was my unicorn . I have a grey one from the Stanley website – the only difference between the two is the lid . The target one has a clear lid while the grey is a cloudy white color . The clear actually looks nicer imo. I’d love to have the pretty pale pink one day . Three of these is almost 1 gallon of water .

LUCKY! That white one is my unicorn too. Thanks for leaving a comment!
