We had a short lived series called Mom Dilemmas when we first started creating video for our YouTube channel. The premise was to offer up suggestions to viewer questions based on our experiences. We go back and forth with the idea of bringing this series back because we love to connect with viewers on a level deeper than taste tests and makeup favorites.
Should we Bring Back Mom Dilemmas?
In the video below, a viewer asked our advice on how to make mom friends. Woah boy. We’ve all been there, right? More recently, a comment was left on that video which read “I feel like a loser, on You Tube looking up videos on how to make friends. I have two small children, 16 months and 5 months old, I am a stay at home mom, and I don’t have any family around.” Woof.
Struggles with Making Mom Friends
Motherhood can be extremely isolating sometimes. Megan and I have both struggled with feeling this way and as moms to little ones we found solace in local playgroups. Now that our children are school-aged, we have found that the struggle continues.
Making friendships with moms at school can be difficult with busy schedules and different personalities. Our advice is to stay involved and make an effort. You’ll eventually make a connection with someone. If not, there’s always the internet.

I think you should definitely revive the Mom Dilemmas series. I remember loving this video when it originally published.
