It’s no secret that we LOVE subscription boxes. It’s part the enjoyment of getting packages in the mail, part the element of surprise, and part getting products that we might not have chosen otherwise.
We first shared a Hippie Hobby box on our channel back when we made DIY lip balm (and shocked ourselves at our ability to complete the project on our own!) We both enjoy crafting but often get in our own way when we become convinced that something is either too hard, or requires too many supplies that we might not have on hand. Don’t get us started about how we feel walking into a craft store. Hippie Hobby takes care of that for you by providing fun and doable crafts and sending you all of the supplies that you’ll need to complete them.
This month’s main craft was an aromatherapy necklace, with a bonus cork stamper craft.
The kit comes with everything you’ll need to make two diffuser necklaces: chain, lockets, essential oils, felt, and embellishments. There are detailed instructions with photos for completing the necklace. (You put a few drops of the oil on the felt and tuck that into the locket. Super smart, right?) My kit included lavender essential oil and I happened to open this on a day when I just needed to seriously chill out. The timing was perfect.
The bonus craft is cork stamps and these couldn’t be easier. Simply apply the foam stickers to the corks and stamp away.
Finally, they included a cute gift box with twine and a gift tag to make gifting one of the necklaces as easy as can be.
