Halloween 2019 has hit Target – well, online but it is available for preorder and will be on shelves before we know it.
I vow every year that I won’t buy another Halloween or Fall decoration for my home and yet there I was last night favoriting so many cute decorations from Target’s 2019 Halloween collection. Here’s a sneak peek of the cutest Halloween Decor at Target.

Am I the only person who gets bored year after year with the same holiday decor? I know a lot of people get sentimental about decorations, but I prefer to change things up considering what I’m feeling inspired by. For many years, we did cutesy Halloween decor because my daughter was young. Now, I feel we can step up the fear factor – especially when decorating outside.
Spooky Halloween Decor from Target
A few weeks ago I saw an article floating around that a lot of Target’s Halloween stuff would be themed similar to Little Shop of Horrors. Don’t come at me, but I don’t love it. It’s too cartoony for my personal taste. I swing more traditional with orange and black and vintage flair. My absolute favorites are the spider pillow and the dinner plates. I even think the vulture is really quite cute.
Pretty Home Decor and Fall Accents

The struggle is real when it comes to timing. What comes first: Fall decor or Halloween? I personally put out a few fall-themed decorations around back-to-school time in September. Think apple picking, college football and change out the throw pillows. Then come mid-October, I swap all that out for 100% Halloween decor which is then replaced in November with Fall accents and a heavy dose of Thanksgiving.

Halloween and Fall Decor in Target’s Dollar Spot
Of course you don’t want to miss the selection from Target’s Dollar Spot either! All holiday stuff in the Dollar Spot is sure to get snapped up as soon as it gets put out. I didn’t realize this was a thing until last year when I went to several different stores looking for $3 felt pumpkins.
Follow our Instagram for updates on when Fall and Halloween decorations hit the Dollar Spot. We’ll definitely share our favorites there when they become available.
So tell us what’s speaking to you from Target’s Halloween Collection? Like we mentioned before, many of these things are available for pre-order at Target.com but you can expect most items to be on Target shelves by August 22, 2019.
