It’s a new year which means a new name for Hallmark’s February movies. Out with Love Ever After and in with Loveuary. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a fan of this change, but maybe that’s just because it’s both hard to say and spell. Will we be a fan of the movies debuting in February? Let’s take a look at the Loveuary 2022 Lineup of new movies coming to Hallmark
What’s on Hallmark Channel in February 2022?
The Wedding Veil – ENCORE PRESENTATION
Saturday, February 5
Starring: Lacey Chabert, Autumn Reeser, Ali Sweeney and Kevin McGarry
Why did they choose to air this movie as a part of the New. Year New Movies lineup, only to re-air it a month later? We may never know. However, we’ve already watched and reviewed The Wedding Veil We won’t spoil it for you, but we will say we are looking forward to the next movies in this trilogy. We hoped that this movie would be a redemption for Lacey after Christmas at Castle Hart and we’re pleased to say it was leaps and bounds better.
The Wedding Veil Unveiled
Saturday February 12
Starring Autumn Reeser, Lacey Chabert, Alison Sweeney and Paolo Bernardini
Perhaps the only movie this month with a title that’s more of a tongue twister than Loveuary. This time we get Autumn Reeser as the star. She heads to Italy where she meets a man from a lace-making family. We loved Autumn in The 27 Hour Day last spring, and we’re excited to see her as a part of this trio. This movie also stars Paolo Bernardini, who appears to be new to Hallmark, but no stranger to acting in Italy.
The Wedding Veil Legacy
Saturday February 19
Starring: Alison Sweeney, Autumn Reeser, Lacey Chabert and Victor Webster
Alison Sweeney stars alongside Victor Webster who you might recognize from Workin’ Moms. We loved Ali’s Open by Christmas feature in Countdown to Christmas 2021. She always delivers in her roles for Hallmark, so we’re excited to see her round out this trilogy.
We really love the way these women have supported each other while doing press for these movies. We can only hope Hallmark will continue to make crossover movies like these that allow our Hallmark darlings to star alongside each other.
Welcome to Mama’s
Saturday, February 26
Starring Melanie Scrofano, Daniel di Tomasso and Lorraine Bracco
Melanie Scrofano, who usually stars in grittier fare like Wynona Earp, stars alongside Daniel di Tomasso, seen most recently in Y The Last Man. Both appear to be relative newcomers to the network and we hope Hallmark isn’t trying to bury this movie in a pile of wedding veil tulle. You can count on us to review this movie, and every other movie this month on the podcast!
