One source of monthly video inspiration is Mama Kat’s list of vlogging prompts. We always pore over it for inspiration and we love finding new tag video ideas. (Hint to new or aspiring YouTubers – this is a great list of ideas for videos if you’re wondering what in the world to record first.) I’m not going to lie to you, tag videos are easy because they’re just a list of questions, but since Wendy and I film together they’re also a fun back and forth as we find out things we never knew about each other. (And are reminded of things we know all too well.)
The Guilty Pleasures tag was too fun to pass up and so we’re letting you in on our not-so-deep secrets. We’re already pretty open about our candy and drug store makeup addictions, but perhaps there are a few hidden gems in this video. We talk everything from Britney Spears to Zayn Malik. It’s good stuff. You’ll see that we tweaked the last question just a little bit from Kat’s original list to suit our needs.
One editor’s note – when I talk about soundtracks in the video, I mean Broadway soundtracks in particular. I knew what I meant when I was saying it, but it came out wrong and, well, that feels like an important distinction to make.
