It is finally here. Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will be released on November 25th, and if you’re anything like us, the trailer alone makes you laugh and cry. We had talked about trying to watch it together but Wendy had to go and travel for Thanksgiving, and sorry friend, I can’t wait. Whether you will be watching alone in your pajamas the moment the episodes are released, or hosting all of your besties for a party, we’ve got the ultimate Gilmore Girls Revival Viewing Party Experience.

Decorations for your Gilmore Girls Viewing Party
Stash those cell phones so you can give the Girls your full attention. (But how will you tweet about every incredible second?) We’re not sure we’ll adhere to this one, but we sure do love this nod to Luke’s Diner.

You might want to be sure to have plenty of tissues on hand, because the loss of Richard Gilmore alone is enough to make me weep right now.
Gilmore Girls Watch Party Menu
Basically anything you have a lot of will suffice. Thanksgiving leftovers? Go for it! We think you should eat like a Gilmore while watching the Gilmores so we’ll be choosing our favorite takeout along with a box of donuts and probably a stash of leftover Halloween candy. Even coffee (lots of it) and Pop Tarts would be perfection.
Watching is the main event, but how about an activity that you can combine along with the watching. These Gilmore Girls Bingo cards, also from Milk & Honey, will make your watch party a truly immersive experience!
Party favors for a Gilmore Girls Watch Party
While candy is the obvious choice for a party favor, perhaps served in a Chinese take out box, a la Al’s Pancake World, we also love some of the sweet ideas available on Etsy and linked above!
What are you plans for watching the revival? Will you watch alone so you don’t miss a single minute, or watch with a group of friends? Are you staying up until the moment they’re released so you don’t have see a single spoiler online? Will you immediately begin rewatching the second the four episodes are over. Any guesses on when the first Gilmore Guys episode post revival will be released? We are counting down the days over here. Tick tock, Gilmores. Tick, tock.
