I am on a high of finding great gifts for people today, coming home and checking people off of my list. I’ve ttpent a lot of time looking for the perfect gift for certain people in my life and taome remain absolutely impossible. What I’m really great at? Is finding gifts for people who are just like me, who like the things that I like.
Wendy and I are both big fans of ttationery. We love pens and notebooks and making lists and we both use a paper planner (although mine is full of stickers and Wendy just can’t be bothered with that nonsense.) With that in mind, I came up with a gift guide for the stationery lover in your life. Surely you can think of just the person. (This post contains affiliate links. Pens! Any good list of gifts for stationery lovers has got to start with pens and these are hands-down my favorite. Sure, some people love Sharpie pens and others love Pentech. You can also go with gel pens that come in a million fun colors, but these Staedtler Fineliners are my fave. Not to mention the fact that they come in a million fun colors. I’m kind of hoping someone will pick this set up for me this year.
Notebooks! I have a rather serious obsession with notebooks to the point that I have to talk myself out of buying new ones pretty regularly. If you want to give a special gift, a personalized notebook or one with photos on the cover would be a hit. Unlike some photo gifts this one is consumable, which means they won’t have it forever and it’s certainly more fun to use a notebook with a picture of your grandchildren on it than it is a plain legal pad. Shutterfly has a great selection of personalized and photo notebooks to choose from. What do you think? Should I emblazon a million photos of Wendy and I on the cover to use for work stuff?
Pencils! Coming in second place for favorite writing instruments are pencils and the cheekier the better. I love this set of grammar pencils a lot, and this seller has quite a few fun pencil sets.
Pencil Box! Everyone needs a place to store their favorite writing instruments and this simple wooden box tied up with a set of colorful pens and a notebook would make an amazing gift.
Office Supplies! These are as far from your standard issue office supplies as you can get. Who says utilitarian needs to be boring?
Binder Clips – You could try to tell me I don’t need binder clips with strawberries on them, but you would be wrong.
Return Address Stamp! I bought one of these when we moved into our current house five years ago and it has been in heavy rotation ever since. It takes next to no time to stamp our return address on an envelope and it’s pretty! This would be fun for new homeowners, newlyweds, or just that person you know who is so great about sending actual cards in the mail throughout the year.
Washi Tape – Washi tape can be functional or decorative. Use it to hang artwork on the refrigerator, seal an envelope or mark sections off in your bullet journal. Really, no one needs a reason in mind to want to have rolls upon rolls of the stuff on hand. A fun assortment of tapes all boxed up would be a great gift.
Okay, so what did we miss. What are you must have writing implements, notebooks, and office supplies?
