Since we were on a shooting hiatus during the winter break, we’re finally back with a few of our favorite things from December and sharing some of the best Christmas gifts under our trees this past holiday season.

Old Faves, New Faves, Expensive Faves!
First up, the scents: Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt cologne and Philosophy Pure Grace. Both brands have a collection of body creams and body wash in these same scents but HOLD THE PHONE… Philosophy makes a Dry Shampoo in Pure Grace. Watch for it in a future Faves video!
How fancy is that Dyson Hair Dryer? For real, the technology sounds exactly the same as my vacuum cleaner. Color me jealous.
My QVC obsession lives on with my most recent purchase of Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant. Like I said, I love what it does immediately for my skin once I put it on. Still waiting to see the results it promises. I will keep you updated!
We’ve Been Gilmored!
No surprise that we both received a bunch of Gilmore Girl related gifts for Christmas since we love it so much. Megan’s husband gifted her a Dragonfly Inn coffee mug (and there is such a thing as a Dragonfly Inn t-shirt) and I got the Funko Pop Television Vinyl of Rory and Lorelai. Plus, Lauren Graham’s new book Talking As Fast As I Can.
Make Me Pretty
Truth be told, we need another beauty product like we need a hole in our head, but who doesn’t love a new palette! Megan always hits a home run with gifts and the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit in Surreal Light is second to none. So pretty without the glittery highlight! And GA-DE Cosmetics? Where’d you come from? Love this (new to us!) brand! The Basics Matte Eyeshadow palette is gorgeous and the colors are so pigmented and beautiful. The Crystal Glow Nail Enamel in Secret Dream is my rosé dreams come true and we love the creamy finish of the Idyllic Soft Satin Lipstick.

I wanted to dive head first into Megan’s huge Volcano candle from Anthropolgie. It smells so good. AND YES FRIENDS, they have a Volcano hand soap and lotion set that is now on my birthday list. Finally, the sweetest, custom, snuggly blanket from OC Hearts. I never knew I could love a blanket like this before.
