Spring has sprung! The last few days have been like summer though and when I went to grab a pair of shorts I realized my selection was either too worn-in or too small. Even though it’s still early in the year, this is the time to update your warm-weather wardrobe because the options are a plenty. So, throw on some self tanner and let’s shop favorite shorts for spring and summer.
Pull-On Shorts Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop
Blame the pandemic for introducing everyone to pull-on comfort wear. My favorite go-to pants have an elastic waistband and I don’t see myself letting them go anytime soon. Thankfully retail stores have heard my (our) cries and delivered with some very cute, fashionable, perfect for summer pull-on shorts.

Soft, Terry Cloth Shorts for Women
Some might consider a soft terrycloth short to be loungewear but let’s say all shorts are for wearing wherever you want to wear them. These shorts are easy to wear and still be fashion. One thing we’ve learned in the last year is that we shouldn’t suffer in uncomfortable clothes.

Need to update some spring and summer pieces but don’t want to spend a lot? Amazon has some pretty great deals on the basics you might be looking for. These elastic waist linen shorts are so cute and come in a bunch of different colors and patterns. These Levi’s 501 Originals are very on-trend and are available in a good size range. Check out these 5″ inseam Chinos. They come in a bunch of colors and expanded sizes. And here is another great pair of affordable linen shorts in a variety of colors for $23.
A few years back I found a pair of shorts from Target that I just absolutely loved so I ended up buying one in every color and wore the heck out of them. Before they were sold out, I ordered two more pairs to hold onto for the following summer. Best decision ever.
