Cooler days have finally arrived here in Southern California. Heck, we even had a crazy thunderstorm earlier this week with enough rain to summon the Hunter rain boots from the depths of our closets! But, it’s the crisp air that has us furiously shopping for the perfect fall sweater.
Here are our four favorite fall sweaters from the Gap. Megan could definitely wear any of these looks where I naturally lean toward the slouchiest of them and that’s the pullover sweatshirt. Yes, I know sweatshirts are technically sweaters but this one looks so comfy and perfect to wear on nights around the house.
Did you see J.Crew is now selling at Nordstrom? I haven’t been into a J.Crew in a very long time but I can’t help staring at these two gorgeous, cashmere sweaters. The colors scream spring to me but if I had upwards of $400 to drop on a sweater I might get one and live in it forever.
Bring on the ponchos and cardigan sweaters from LOFT. LOFT is really one of my favorite retailers even though I think it skews more business casual rather than just casual. I can usually find something that catches my eye like that tan cardigan which makes me want to turn on Nirvana Unplugged. You 90s girls get my reference, don’t you?
I’ve always been drawn to v-neck sweaters but as I’ve aged I like to play it a little more conservative. I’m turning into a grandmother as I type this. Nordstrom Rack has a great mix of options, including the coveted cowlneck wrap from Bobeau. It’s one of Megan’s all time favorite fall sweaters! If it’s not available from Nordstrom Rack, check Nordstrom for availability.

We’ve had exactly 1 day of fall-ish weather here in Texas. It’s miserable. These sweaters looks so cute, but so hot. Now I’m sad. ;-(
