I have always looked at family pajamas somewhat longingly, thinking that no way would my family or my husband be into it. A few years ago, when family pajamas burst onto the scene everywhere, rather than a few specialty retailers, I asked my husband his thoughts and he was all in!
It hasn’t been smooth sailing. There was the year I accidentally bought my husband women’s pajamas and he couldn’t figure out why the buttons were on the wrong side. (Thanks for nothing, Target, and your poorly labeled jammies.)
While my husband and I are able to re-wear our pajamas year after year, the kids insist on growing, so this has become somewhat of an annual investment, but once you start the tradition it’s not possible to stop, right? I fully intend to have a matching pair of pajamas for my children and their significant others in the years to come.

Hanna Andersson wins for sheer variety in their family pajama offerings. Not only are their designs adorable, but you can get them in a variety of styles depending on your preference.
Macy’s Family Pajamas
Macy’s also does a good job of hosting all of the pajama offerings on one page. We’re particularly big fans of the pet pajamas and I’m wondering if we have time to get a new dog so that we can dress them in matching pajamas.
