Are you tempted by the new fall scents at Bath and Body Works? Here’s my favorite scent for 2019!
I didn’t want to do it. I told myself to shop from my own stash considering I have two cabinets filled with soaps and lotions from Bath and Body Works of seasons past. Yet, like a moth to a flame. I visited my local Bath and Body Works three times before eventually giving in to the sweet smell of a 3-wick fall candle. In my defense, it was $10 off. Here’s the new fall scents from Bath and Body Works and a few little extras I picked up.

New Scents for Fall
Bath and Body Works released a bunch of new scents for fall. Admittedly, some are too sweet for me. My stomach turns at the smell of an overwhelmingly sweet candle. So, scents like Caramel Pumpkin Swirl, Banana Cream Pie and Salted Butterscotch just don’t do it for me. I try to stay far away from the sweet scents and choose something easier on the nose.

This year, I was really drawn to Harvest Gathering which is the scents of fresh picked apples, cloves and autumn berries. I also really loved Cinnamon Bark which is simply the scents of cinnamon sticks, cloves, vanilla beans and white cedar. And finally, for a real departure, I loved and purchased Cinnamon Irish Cream. It’s cinnamon spiced liqueur, Irish cream and French vanilla scented. It’s basically what I want to drink on a cool, fall night cozied up on the couch watching a scary movie!

How Many Hand Soaps Are Too Many?
It always seem excessive when I’m loading up my Bath and Body Works basket with six bottle of hand soaps. But, the deal is always so very tempting because 6 bottles of hand soap for $18 breaks down to $3 per bottle and that cost is far better than full retail of $6.50 per bottle. You guys, $6.50 for a 8.75 fl. oz. of hand soap is way too expensive.
Thanks for coming to my math lesson today.

But really, I have six sinks in my home and I hope that everyone is washing their hands at each of those sinks. I can justify purchasing six $3 hand soaps for each of the sinks and know that everyone has clean hand with a nice fragrance.

So what scents get you excited for the new fall season that’s finally upon us? Admittedly, I am already looking forward to the winter collection from Bath and Body Works. I love that fresh pine fragrance during the holiday season! So, expect another run down of favorite scents and likely another haul in the next few months!
