Sure, fall can mean chunky knit sweaters, plaid and earth tones, but I think a well-placed fall floral can be amazing.
Okay, real talk, I can’t even take myself seriously with that last sentence. A well-placed fall floral? Who do I think I am? Anyway, ridiculous wording aside, I LOVED this outfit Wendy put together for a recent brunch at the Beachcomber Cafe in Crystal Cove. I couldn’t wait to share this outfit with you guys.

Forget the Rules! There are no rules!
I thought about making a list for how to style fall florals, but I feel pretty strongly that you should wear the clothes you like and throw the “rules” out the window. Much like the suggestion that one gets a bikini body by simply putting a bikini on one’s body, I think you style fall florals by – wait for it – wearing them. On your body. In the fall.
Back to the beach. I’m pinching myself that this was our view from brunch.
Look, we’re twenty minutes from this view every single day of our lives, but the reality is that sometimes it takes a special event for us to trek out and put our toes in the sand.
