Do you know how long it takes to collect enough empty products to make it video worthy? A long freaking time. I had a few favorite empties shoved under my bathroom counter but Megan had been collecting for a solid year. Her dry shampoo collection is impressive.
Since shooting this video, I’ve been thinking about how I consume beauty products. I’m embarrassed to admit the number of nail polishes (I bought four new ones this week) and lip glosses I have stashed in cabinets and drawers. And don’t even ask about the 800 (I’m exaggerating, obviously) travel size lotions and body washes I have. But, with a serious addiction to the drug store plus several monthly beauty box subscriptions, I am choking on products. I couldn’t figure out how Megan had so many empties compared to mine but I realized it’s because I have so many of the same thing that I don’t ever get around to finishing one item – unless, of course, I REALLY love it.
Truth is, I think a MAJOR DECLUTTER video and blog post is in order!

What’s the one product you buy over and over again? Or are you more like me and never finish anything?
Nicole says
That’s a really good question. I’m really hooked on Boscia face products / skin care line right now and I have a funny feeling I am going to continue buying them into next season.

Definitely a Wendy – always something new and ooh maybe better and ooh! Shiny! ?

Hahaha – I have so many bottles of products tucked in my bathroom and closet. It’s insane! Many of the products you’re showing are some of my favorites as well.

I tend to buy whatever is on sale. I rarely find something that I think is above and over the top.

Beauty products are a must for me too. Can you imagine how much we spend in a year on them? Wow. Good work here.

I never save my empties, but your video totally has me wanting to now. They are each like a little trophies of accomplishment.
