Today we’re sharing our a few of our favorite easy Christmas cookies to make this season!
When my gal was in first grade, the class holiday party project was to decorate gingerbread men. The teacher requested that the gingerbread men be homemade and as class mom I gladly accepted the task of making 30+ homemade gingerbread men cookies.
Guess what? Making gingerbread men cookies isn’t as easy as it sounds. The dough was incredibly sticky and the first dozen men were a sloppy, broken mess. I ditched the dough and placed an order for four dozen gingerbread men from my local bakery.
Well, those bakery gingerbread men were “too spicy” according to Ms. Johnson’s class of cookie connoisseurs. I pretended like I couldn’t figure out what I could have done to mess up the recipe that had been handed down to the class mom year after year.

Easy Christmas Cookie Recipes
Four ingredients necessary for these Whipped Shortbread Cookies from Something Swanky. I love how creative or simple you can go with the decorations.

Maybe the best cookie I’ve ever had! Cookie Sheet Sugar Cookie Bars from Together as a Family are ridiculously delicious. I made this exact recipe a few years ago for Christmas but kept the frosting white and topped with these sprinkles for a festive flair. My husband asked that I never make them again because they were that good.
Another cake mix cookie comes from The Rebel Chick. I can’t resist the chocolate chip and sprinkle combination of these easy Christmas cookies!
