In another case of “Instagram Made Me Buy It,” we have my thoughts on the driftgoods car air freshener. It was fortuitous timing because at the same time I noticed a musty smell coming from my car’s air vents, I was also served a sponsored post extolling the virtues of the driftgoods air freshener subscription. Read on for my thoughts!
How a driftgoods Subscription Works
For $15 you can get a driftgoods starter kit, which includes the air freshener holder of your choice and your first scent insert. You can choose your scent, or opt for the scent of the month club to receive a new scent monthly. I went for the scent of the month option and I haven’t been disappointed!
How much does a driftgoods subscription cost?
The starter kit is $15, and that includes either a visor clip, or air vent clip, plus the first scent refill. Monthly refills are $8.
How long does a the air freshener last?
Since scent refills are sent every month, I find that my air freshener lasts about that long. I have the vent clip and you can twist the cover to adjust the amount of scent being released. I usually start with the clip in the back seat and move it to the front toward the middle of the month.
Everyone always asks, “Is it worth it?” And that’s a very personal question. For me, is it worth $8 a month to automate my car smelling great? The answer, right now, is yes. This subscription would be a fun gift for someone who always says they don’t need anything!
A Commitment to Clean
If you’re worried about what’s in the air freshener itself, here’s driftgoods promise:
Our scents will never contain parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde, dea, mineral oil, petroleum, propylene, or dichlorobenzene like you find in most other scent companies.
