Starbucks recently introduced a brand new drink called the Smoked Butterscotch Latte and the internet is losing its damn mind. Apparently, the new Starbucks latte tastes exactly like a Butterbeer.
Unfortunately, we hadn’t heard this chatter before sitting down to taste the Smoked Butterscotch Latte last week. But, before you scream “click bait!” watch the video and then read below what Megan thinks about the similarities. She is, after all, our resident Harry Potter fanatic.
Megan says she had a frozen butterbeer while visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Florida’s Universal Studios. The verdict? The new Starbucks Smoked Butterscotch latte doesn’t taste like a butterbeer.
Maybe this just means we need to taste test the Smoked Butterscotch Frappuccino so we can equally compare the two?
