Settle in folks, because this is a long one! We spend a lot of time talking about the stuff we love and use regularly, but what about those products that get shoved to the back of our makeup drawers, collecting dust? I have gone through a lot of disappointing products, and even more disappointing is the fact that I had tossed a lot of it before we filmed this because I know there’s more!
A little disclaimer that we can’t help but post: These products aren’t inherently BAD, they were just bad for us. Everyone wants different things, uses their makeup differently and has different makeup skills. Perhaps you love something that we just didn’t. That’s cool! This is just makeup here, people. It’s one of the few places I’m comfortable saying we can agree to disagree.

Since we do feel a little guilty baring our true feelings about these guys, check out our August favorites video for a dose of positivity! Have you purchased anything lately that just didn’t turn out to be what you had hoped it would be? Let us know in the comments what we should stay away from!
Oh my gosh! I LOVE L’Oreal’s Carbon Black Mascara….for years! But, I do find I don’t like it as much until I’ve used it for a couple weeks – weird I know…it must thicken or something…I’ve never noticed it being dry so maybe you got a bad batch??
Maybe it was a bad batch because it was bone dry! Thanks so much for weighing in. Maybe I’ll give it another try. – Wendy
