This week the Cooper family sort of falls apart and middle-daughter Elisa takes the brunt of it. Megan jokes that we should rename the episode from “Sacrifice Fly” to “Poor Elisa” because she just gets dumped on. Early on her sisters have no interest in picking up the slack left behind by their grandmother’s departure so she attempts to run the household on top of just trying to be a kid. It’s not all that often that I can relate to an adolescent, but man did I feel for her when she threw up her arms and announced that she would just do it herself!
