We are fans of the newest podcast from Doree Shafrir and Kate Spencer called Forever 35. Listening sounds a lot like listening in on a conversation between Wendy and I as we talk about new things we’ve found and loved. Listening is also making my beauty product wishlist get very, very long!
On a recent episode Kate shared a tip for shopping Costco for beauty deals saying that there was a treasure trove of steals to be found online, so we did a little digging and we found that that is absolutely the case!
Fair warning, just like in stores, the items carried online change rapidly and without notice, so if you see something that you want, grab it! Also, check back regularly as items are frequently being changed and added. Finally, if you aren’t a Costco member, don’t click away! We’ve got the inside scoop below on how to order from Costco if you’re not a member. (Hint: it’s easy!)
Here are five things we were excited to find at Costco, and how their prices stack up!

Costco Price $36.99
Colorscience.com Price: $64!
Amazon Price: $64
Dermstore $64
Costco Discount 42%
RapidLash Eyelash Enhancing Serum – Here’s where it pays to read carefully, because a quick inspection of price wouldn’t look like a deal, HOWEVER, Costco’s price is for two tubes of the serum, making this a killer deal!
Costco Price for TWO $49.99
Ulta $49
Amazon $29 (However, I suspect this is a fake. The reviews are TERRIBLE and Amazon is full of fake beauty, so buyer beware when you’re shopping beauty products on Amazon.)
Costco Discount 49%
Tarteist PRO Amazonian Clay Palette – There are a lot of makeup brands I’ve never heard of available at Costco, if I’m being honest. That doesn’t mean they’re not good, but I really wanted to find things that jumped out at me as something I would buy anyway, not just something I wanted because it was cheap and this Tarte palette fits the bill perfectly!
Costco $36
Ulta $53
Costco Discount 32%
RMS Beauty UnCover Up – This is a product that has been on my radar lately as several friends with gorgeous, natural looking skin use this exclusively. And guess what, it’s a steal!
Costco $22.99
Sephora $36
Costco Discount 36%
Costco $26.99
Nordstrom: $37
Costco Discount 27%
This is by no means an exhaustive list of everything available via Costco beauty. There’s a pretty extensive KBeauty section right now, too, plus skin care, hair, fragrances, beauty tools and more. This is the sort of thing I think you should keep an eye on in case your favorite brands show up. I’ve seen a fair bit of turnover just in the past several weeks since I started looking.
Finally, the question I know you’re all wondering…
Can I shop at Costco.com without a membership?
The answer is YES! Of course Costco wants you to join, but you can shop without a membership. Here’s the information straight from the horse’s mouth:
Costco members not only receive the best possible prices at Costco.com, but can also shop at any of the Costco Wholesale locations worldwide! Costco members need to enter their membership number during the registration process in the My Account section. Non-members will be charged a 5% surcharge over the member’s posted product prices (except for prescription drugs). If you are not a member, we encourage you to join.
We did notice a few products on the website are exclusive to members, but definitely not all.
Go forth and save money! Let us know if you find any killer deals in the beauty section at Costco online or in a physical store.
