Once upon a time I really enjoyed throwing themed birthday parties for my kids. I spent days leading up the parties decorating our house, preparing games and party favors. As we are preparing for my kids’ birthdays soon I have been taking a walk down memory lane and remembering those parties. They were SO MUCH WORK and now we tend to opt for parties where I can bring a cake and leave the entertaining and cleanup to someone else these days. I still love birthdays but somehow as my kids get older I’m finding myself with less time to make these things happen. Or, perhaps, is that’s I’m finding myself with less motivation to make things happen.
One of my all-time favorite parties to throw was a Carnival party. My kids’ birthdays fall in the same week and in the interest of simplifying these, we had them share this birthday party. We had a bounce house, cotton candy and popcorn machines plus several fun carnival games handcrafted by yours truly.
For that party I made several Carnival Printables that are still all over Pinterest, but unfortunately, my old blog doesn’t exist anymore. Someone asked me about them recently and I decide I would update them and share them here for anyone who needs them!
Feel free to download these and print them to your heart’s content (just don’t sell them!)
If you throw a carnival party we hope you’ll come back and tell us about it! We would love to see your party!
