I felt my first zing of real holiday excitement this morning when I clicked on Amazon to discover that Oprah’s Favorite Things annual list had finally been announced.
Bring Back the Favorite Things Episode!
Though I love seeing this list still published every year, I really do miss Oprah’s annual televised gift extravaganza. Watching Oprah and her audience lose their minds over Ugg boots and cozy pajamas was on my must-see list every year right up amongst a rewatch of my favorite Christmas movies.
Oprah’s Favorite Things list is not as long as it has been in previous years. But, it is good (you can see the entire list of gifts here) and full of gift ideas at multiple price points for all kinds of recipients. I’ve picked eight of my own favorites from her list and I’m sharing them below.

The Best of Oprah’s Favorites
Footnanny Spa Treatment – These products come to you from Oprah’s personal foot professional. I kid you not. This gift set includes three 2oz. jars of magic, apparently, because it costs $150.

Piccolini Trailblazer T-Shirt featuring RBG, Susan B. Anthony and Mae Jemison – These t-shirts are downright adorable and if you look at the Piccolini website, you’ll see they offer prints that will inspire your little oceanographer, aviator, chemist and more! Love.

Cozy Gifts are always a Win

Cozy Earth Stretch Bamboo Pajamas – I feel like Oprah really sees me when she includes a pajama set on her annual list. Bamboo fabric is considered twice as soft as cotton and can keep you up to 3 degrees cooler at night. I’m all for the soft and cool pajamas but at $129 makes me sweat.

Haus Laboratories Glam Attack Holiday Set – This is an exclusive set of six liquid eyeshadows from Lady Gaga. Haus Laboratories was launched for pre-orders on Prime Day. Tati Westbrook gave the liquid eyeshadows a pretty great review. Hesitant to throw $96 at eyeshadow? Here’s our picks from Haus Laboratories.

Murphy & Daughter’s Bath Salts – These bath salts are $88. Sure, they’re from Australia and claim to leave behind glowing skin but for $88 I would need them to melt away the damn day.

Insulated Water Bottle from JewelChic – Are all water bottles the same? No. But, $20 is a fair price for an insulated water bottle that holds 17 fluid oz. However, I think there are better options available.

Infused Liquid Grapeseed Oil Gift Set – These kinds of oil and vinegar sets are great hostess gifts, neighbor gifts or for co-workers. Yet, this set of five comes in at $85.

Jenni Kayne Matte Glass Candles – These 10 oz candles are gorgeous and come in scents like cedar, basil and ash but these are also $55 each. I thought a $20 Bath and Body Works gave me pause. Etsy is my all-time favorite spot to get handmade candles.

Those mugs! LOVE. Wish they had whole place settings because my 16 year old wedding dinnerware is looking rough.
You and me both, Jenny! We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary over the summer and we’re still using the same, everyday dishes we had on our registry back in 2001. I’m ready for change! – Wendy
