When Megan and I hit the open highway through California’s high desert on our way to Las Vegas last summer, we knew we would need a killer playlist of tunes to pass the time. While she and I like a lot of the same things, our taste in music are miles apart.
Megan would prefer the three-hour set list from the musical Hamilton (which I have since come around to) and I want deep cuts from the Foo Fighters. Our compromise was country favorites that we could sing along to.
The Best Country Songs For a Road Trip
We do share a love for country music. With my love for George Strait and the Dixie Chicks mixed with Megan’s love for Reba and Faith Hill plus a few new country hits we knew we could come up with a playlist that could get us through the 4-hour drive.
