In our early YouTube days, we made a bunch of taste test videos our viewers loved. This is when Oreo and M&Ms were consistently releasing wacky flavors and we just couldn’t pass up the chance to share our honest thoughts. Naturally we had to try BeanBoozled! The results were both hilarious and awful. Hilariously awful!
Who Won this Challenge?
I wouldn’t say the challenge was fun. Given the choice I would prefer my candy be actually tasty, but it is funny when I’m rewatching it. Wendy got the lion’s share of the terrible tasting candies so I really dodged a bullet there. I’m not at all sorry that I’ve never had to taste a vomit flavored jelly bean.
What is the BeanBoozled Challenge?
Jelly Belly wants to know if its customers were up for the Beanboozled challenge.
Two jelly beans look exactly alike. One might taste like toasted marshmallow and the other like stinky socks. Or, one might taste like a strawberry banana smoothie and the other like a dead fish. You won’t know until you put it in your mouth.

How Do You Play the Beanboozled Challenge?
It’s super easy to play the BeanBoozled Challenge. All you need are a couple of friends or family to play.
- All player must divide up all the jelly beans into identical colors.
- Players should spin the wheel to determine what color jelly bean to eat.
- Each player selects one bean.
- If a player eats a gross flavor, he/she gets two points. The player spits it out, he/she gets one point. If it’s a non-gross flavor, the player earns zero points. The objective is to eat the gross flavored jelly beans!
Fun But Gross
One of my favorite things about these challenges is that Wendy’s reactions are absolutely priceless. Also, every single time I think of Beanboozled, my brain thinks of this:
