Are Rothy’s Really Comfortable?
My friends, these shoes are like putting on a pair of slippers. Sure they’re cute and they’re machine washable – more on that later – but the comfort is really the number one selling point for me. I wear mine often because they are so comfortable.
They are a flat, and as such they don’t come with a ton of built in support, but you can take out the provided insoles and add your own, if you need a little something extra. For me, that’s not necessary and I have traveled in these shoes, walking several miles a day without complaint.
How Long do Rothy’s Last?
First of all, my Rothy’s still look brand new. I don’t know what sort of stain repelling magic they use on these shoes to keep them looking like this, but I’m all in. Secondly, even if I were they were to get dirty or smelly (stinky feet happen to all of us) you can wash them in the washing machine with cold water on the delicate cycle.
Are Rothy’s Machine Washable?

What is the Best Rothy’s Style?
There’s a Rothy’s style for just about everyone, from flats to points, loafers and sneakers and they are always coming out with fun new colors and prints.
Wendy and I both love the loafers the most. I am a huge fan of the leopard loafer because I treat it like a neutral and wear it with everything, but I really want another pair in a fun color. Unfortunately they’ve discontinued this style, but they’ve replaced it with the Cheetah, which is very similar!
When the Mary Jane Rothy’s were introduced I immediately fell in love with them. The Rothy’s points just don’t work on my feet, but the Mary Janes have a slightly different cut that makes them the perfect fit.

Are Rothy’s True to Size?
The sad answer here is NO. I have to size up at least one half size in all styles and sometimes a full size in others. Fortunately, Rothy’s offers free shipping and returns so swapping out for a new size is totally doable.
Are Rothy’s Worth The Price?
Okay, they’re expensive. I am someone who buys most of my flats from Target with the occasional Nordstrom Rack purchase thrown in for good measure, so the price of these really hit me where it hurt.

Does Rothy’s Sell Anything Other than Shoes?
Yes! Rothy’s has expanded into bags! The bags are cute, but I’ll admit that I find them overpriced. Yes, I’m willing to pay a premium for washable, comfortable shoes. No, I’m not sure that I need the same quality in a tote bag. The bags ARE really cute though.
