Yes, you heard that right. Trader. Joe’s. Beauty! You might be overlooking some of these products while you’re searching for your favorite easy family dinner, but that’s a mistake! Don’t worry, we’ll clue you in on some of our favorite Trader Joe’s beauty products!
This post was updated in June 2022.
Trader Joe’s can do no wrong in our book but it’s so much more than cookies and quick meals. They have a pretty awesome beauty and health section with incredible products that are often overlooked because who typically shops at Trader Joe’s for face lotion, you know?
Megan and I have found many of our all-time, everyday beauty favorites in the aisles of Trader Joe’s. When this list was created, we shared our five favorites.
There are so many new releases in the Trader Joe’s beauty aisle that this list has grown over time. Definitely throw one or more of these in your cart the next time you’re shopping.
If you don’t have a Trader Joe’s in your area, we’ve added links to many of the items that can be found on Amazon (those are affiliate links, your click supports our site – thank you!)

The best beauty products from Trader Joe’s
Trader Joe’s Coconut Body Butter
You’ll find seasonal scents, like pumpkin in the fall and mango in the summer, but the original Trader Joe’s Coconut Body Butter is hands down the best scent of them all. This body cream is thick and smooth made with pure coconut oil, shea butter, aloe and vitamin E.

NEW! Trader Joe’s Brazil Nut Body Butter
Do not sleep on this product!
Trader Joe’s Body Butters are well loved, but the newer Brazil Nut formula has fans screaming that it’s a dupe for Sol de Janeiro’s BumBum cream, a product that’s nearly ten times the price.
We agree! This body butter smells heavenly and has a lightweight, highly moisturizing formula. Get it this summer before it sells out!
Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Tingle Body Wash

Tea Tree oil is super polarizing. Some really love it and some can’t stand it. I love the tingly refreshing feeling from the Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Tingle body wash. This was one of the very first beauty products I bought from TJ’s.
I’m fickle about most products in general but I keep coming back to this body wash which is made up of organic tea tree oil, peppermint, eucalyptus, rosemary and thyme. You can also find the Tea Tree Tingle in a shampoo and conditioner.

Trader Joe’s Enrich Moisturizing Face Lotion with SPF 15

I shared the Trader Joe’s Enrich Moisturizing Face Lotion once in a favorites video and Megan made fun of its “old lady” scent. Go ahead and call me an old lady then because this is my all time favorite beauty product from Trader Joe’s.
I LOVE this PABA and paraben-free daily moisturizer and wear it every day under my makeup. My only wish is that it had a higher SPF. It is amazing!

Trader Joe’s Moisturizing Cream Shave

If you’ve seen any of our favorites videos, I’ve mentioned that I only recently ditched bar soap for shave cream when shaving my legs. I really don’t know why I waited so long! I took a chance on the Trader Joe’s Moisturizing Cream Shave in Honey Mango and it is amazing. It smells wonderful, it comes in a plastic tube (instead of a can) and is paraben-free.

Trader Joe’s Shampoo Bar – Peppermint and Tea Tree

This shampoo bar from Trader Joe’s smells HEAVENLY. If you’re not familiar with shampoo bars, you use them just like a bar of soap. Rub the soap directly on your scalp or in your hands to create a lather and then shampoo as usual.
This shampoo bar does a great job as a clarifying shampoo without stripping your hair of the oils it needs to be healthy.
Trader Joe’s Rose Water Facial Spray

If you’re not misting your face, what are you waiting for? The Trader Joe’s Rose Water Facial Toner spray can be used both on clean skin and over makeup! Use it to refresh your skin throughout the day and the rose scent is blissful.
No, it won’t make your makeup melt off of your face unless you positively drench yourself in it. Megan even likes this is a makeup setting spray, even though it’s not marketed that way.

Trader Johann’s Virtuoso Lip Balm
Forget the cutesy name and just remember that Trader Joe’s sells a 3-pack spearmint lip balm. Megan is a Chapstick die hard and I was able to sway her with these. The lip balm goes on smooth and has a strong spearmint flavor.
I really like that they are made of 50% organic ingredients and have a SPF 15. These can be hard to find. Look for a hanging display or near the register.

Trader Joe’s Head to Toe Moisturizing Balm
A little tin of moisturizing balm that works wonders on dry elbows and feet. It even smooths fly away hair. Talk about all-in-one.

Technically not on the beauty aisle but Trader Joe’s Virgin Organic Coconut Oil is fantastic. If you aren’t on the coconut oil train, what are you waiting for? I use it to remove makeup, mix with my essential oils, treat a sunburn, and add to smoothies. It’s a wonder product. I’m in love with these new little packets perfect for travel!

We moved from LA 9 years ago and I STILL miss TJs. I would love to get my hands on the daily moisturizer. The closest one is Dallas. Looks like a road trip is in order.
They make a face wash that is seriously the best out there. I am obsessed with it!
