Before you start throwing things, I know that it’s still September, that it’s still blazing hot in a lot of places, and that most of us don’t even have our Halloween costumes. While I agree it’s entirely too early for stores to be displaying their holiday decorations, some things are okay in September. I usually have my holiday cards ordered before the end of the month! When it comes to advent calendars, take it from me, some of these will sell out early and then you’ll be left with overpriced resale options that will just make you angry. Trust me, there are more advent calendars to come (I’m anxiously awaiting the release of all of the beauty calendars) but you’ll want to get a jump these advent calendars for kids.
Advent calendars are a major part of the holiday tradition in our house. We even looked into adding a Halloween advent calendar to our annual traditions! I love the idea of enjoying the entire season, rather than just looking forward to one day. For someone like me who feels a bit of letdown after the holidays are over, having a tiny celebration each day really helps to mitigate that!
